Liam Macrae

Liam joined Imperial College London as a lawyer within the Advancement Division in 2018 and became Head of Legal Services (Advancement) in 2024. After completing a BA in Geography at University College London, Liam worked as a secondary school teacher before completing the GDL and LPC at the College of Law (now University of Law).

Liam qualified as a private client lawyer, then spent a year teaching on the Equity & Trusts course at BPP University before joining the university. Liam advises on a wide variety of legal issues within the Advancement Division, including matters involving commercial, charity, trust and data protection law.
