Work at Imperial

Athena Swan Charter

The Athena Swan Charter is a framework used across the world to support and transform gender equality within higher education (HE).

Imperial has been a member of the Charter since 2005, and currently holds a Silver institutional award. Departments also hold their own awards.

Julia Higgins Medal and Award

The Julia Higgins Medal and Awards are awarded annually to recognise individuals, groups, and departments that have made a significant contribution to the support of women in academia at Imperial.
